about

For a long-winded description of where this came from, check out this blog post: www.zath.org/2014/04/02/4four-quarter-sountrack/ - To make a long story short, 4Four:Quarter was a sequel to a 42 Hours of VERGE game jam competition, by Zaratustra zarat.us/tra

4Four:Quarter had a lot of neat ideas, but was not quite finished. Some of the parts that were completed included a few tracks of music and some musical sound design elements.

4Four:Quarter's soundtrack was chiefly written in 2004-05, which was right before Matthew started working on the soundtrack for Dungeons of Dredmor. This time capsule of a soundtrack from a game that involved time manipulation and deadly world-spanning disaster was created using Impulse Tracker, a freeware MS-DOS audio program borne out of the demoscene.

You may also enjoy reverbproject.bandcamp.com which was another Impulse Tracker endeavor, along with Wyatt Peterson
